Centred Outdoors Season 8

End-of-Season Survey and Wrap Up

October 21, 2024

Hello ClearWater,

The success of our guided outings and wellness activities is measured not just by how many people we’ve led on the trail, but by all the ways in which we’ve provided individuals, of all ages and abilities, with a chance to experience the benefits of being in nature. In 2024, we greatly expanded the program by offering winter activities such as Outdoor Free Play days for families, Full Moon Walks at Rhoneymeade, and a speaker event covering Trail Maintenance. The summer season included 68 guided outings at 20 different nearby natural destinations, 10 Wellness Wednesday activities, expanded free transportation services, and a series of more difficult hikes to finish out the year.

Guided Outing participants at Talleyrand Park learned a little Bellefonte history and explored every corner of this beautiful destination!

Even if you haven't participated in a Centred Outdoors program, we strive to provide valuable, accurate information about local recreation destinations, so you can explore on your own! The seasonal Passport, Adventure Guide emails, and online Destinations are free resources that anyone can access. New destinations are added each season, and you can always contact us with questions about outdoor places to visit in central PA.

Take our Survey, Win Prizes!

This year’s End-of-Season Survey is now open, and we would like to ask that you take 5-10 minutes to let us know your thoughts about Centred Outdoors. The survey is anonymous and every question is optional. Your feedback will help us plan future seasons and improve elements of our outings such as transportation to events, Junior Naturalist tools, and our Gear Library. Include your email address on the survey for a chance to win great local prizes!
