RSVP for our 100th Anniversary Dinner!
On September 17th, we will gather at Southern Charm beginning at 4pm for an evening of food, fellowship, trivia, and shared stories to celebrate our 100th anniversary as a congregation!
4:00pm - Gathering, Appetizers, and Drinks. Beer and Wine will be available for an additional cash donation.
5:00 pm - Buffet Dinner with choice of Roast Beef in Au jus or gluten-free Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast (an entree that is both vegan & gluten-free is available upon request with your RSVP), Spring Salad, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Mac'n'Cheese, Green Bean Almondine, and Sourdough Bread. Cake for dessert.
5:45-7:00pm - Trivia contest, Testimonials, and more.
The cost will be $12 per person, with a cap of $40 per household. The suggested cash donation for beer is $5, for wine is $6.
Please RSVP HERE and submit your payment by September 1. (If you have RSVP'ed on the tear & share in worship, you do not need to RSVP again.)

Family Promise Hosting Week - August 13-20
Grace will be hosting Family Promise again soon! We'd love to have you join us in welcoming our guest families and making sure they have good meals and a comfortable place to stay with us.
To take part in this week, please click HERE. We have roles for everyone - setup, making dinner, spending time socializing, sleeping, and resetting!
Our Youth had an excellent time hosting dinner during our June week - this is a volunteer opportunity for all ages, families, and friends!

Summer Book Study
This summer, Grace is hosting a book study centered on "The Color of Compromise" by Jemar Tisby.
We will meet once more, tomorrow, Wednesday August 9th, at 12 and 6 pm, covering chapters 10 and 11.

We are exploring the opportunity to reinstate a quilting group at Grace! We need your input to determine what interest there may be, what the focus could be, and when to meet.

As a part of Grace's 100th Anniversary Celebration, we will share a Temple Talk highlighting Grace's history through the decades on the first Sunday of each month, from March through December.

Members of Grace donated a 180.3 pounds of food and supplies in the month of July!
Biggest needs this week at HOPE:
Diapers Size 4, 5 & 6, Pull-Ups (all sizes), Cereal, Rice, Canned Tomatoes, Condiments, Jelly, Canned Corn, Pinto, and Garbanzo Beans, Canned Fruit. Please no canned green beans.
You can drop items off in the bin located outside the church offices and a volunteer will take them over to HOPE. Please only place non-perishable items in the bin!

The Sanctuary Candle for the month of August is given by Kathy and John Taylerson in memory of Kathy's dad, John Heckert.
The Altar Flowers for August 13 are given by Donna and Rick Richter in appreciation for the dedicated and loving service of our Parish Administrator, Michelle Cunningham, to Grace over the past few years.
