Dear Lobo Families,

I am thrilled to extend a personal welcome to all of you. I trust that your summer break was fantastic, though we truly felt your absence and missed you dearly. Throughout the summer, your PTA has been diligently engaged in planning and formulating strategies for the upcoming year. Our primary objective remains enhancing your child's journey at Lobo, ensuring they progress with a strong sense of belonging and community.

PTA cannot do this without the active participation of parents, staff, and teachers. Speaking as a parent myself, I can attest that these moments become etched in your children's memories. My own journey started with a simple commitment to selling popsicles. The joy and fulfillment that stemmed from witnessing your children's smiles was overwhelming. I wholeheartedly encourage you to join the PTA. Attend an association meeting, talk with a PTA representative, volunteer, communicate with your child's teachers, and take the leap. Regret will not be on the horizon, as you will never find yourself navigating this path alone.

This year presents a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part of the close-knit Lobo Wolf Pack!

Lobo Community. This year we embarked on something special. We have been selected to receive an upgrade to our playground funded by The Recess Project. The Recess Project wants to create a more inclusive recess for students with disabilities by providing accessible playground equipment for schools. They have thoughtfully presented a proposal to our district with the guidance of Principal Coy. In the meantime, the Recess Project is actively fundraising nationally to pay for our new accessible equipment. 

We are ecstatic and grateful to Principal Coy and Amanda Hicks, for taking the lead on this endeavor for our students.

Please support the efforts of the Recess Project by hosting a Lemonade Stand by 9/30. It's so easy to do and you can be eligible to win prizes or a cool t-shirt.
