FROM THE HEADMASTER

Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a restful and rejuvenate summer. I spent much of the first two days touring our classrooms and it was good to see our teachers and students working together again in pursuit of virtue. Our teachers have worked hard to make sure that our kids feel loved, and that procedures and expectations are well understood so that we can maximize learning for the 23-24 school year. Our primary mission is the lifelong pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty, and this guides all of our decisions, both small and large. Each year we also choose a thematic goal to support our primary mission. This year it is: Be good to each other and noble together. In short, we want our students to align their words and actions with virtue for the good of their teachers and peers. More to come on how we look to bring this goal to life in the coming school year. It is going to be a good one!

The Great Hearts Gala is heading West!

Join us for the 6th Great Hearts Gala on Saturday, September 30^that the beautiful Earnhardt Lexus Showroom in Phoenix, as we switch up our traditional sit-down Gala for a western themed evening including a live country concert, dancing, and delicious food and beverage.

Proceeds benefit Great Hearts Arizona teachers and our mission to cultivate the minds and hearts of students in the pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.

Come dressed in your best western attire for an evening you don’t want to miss! More info to come.

INSPIRE Entertainment

AT INSPIRE PRESCHOOL our goal is to expose our students to a variety of the performing arts including music, dance, theatre, and tumbling. We aim to use those mediums as tools to ensure students are prepared socially and academically for Kindergarten.

Some of our learning objectives include:

Building character and confidence
Achieving academic and social school readiness
Experiencing the value and importance of learning, practicing, and performing

ACADEMY GIVING

Dear Archway Arete families,

My name is June Brockmeyer, and I have the privilege of serving as the Family Giving and Community Engagement Officer for our wonderful school community. My role here at Arete is to raise the funds necessary for our school to be able to offer our Great Hearts educational model, and to engage with families in a variety of ways as we go along this parenting journey together.

This is right around the corner! This lunch feeds all 70 members of the Archway faculty and staff and we need YOUR help!

Our school library is a hub of knowledge and inspiration, and we need enthusiastic volunteers to help us create an engaging and welcoming environment for our students.
