I have heard so many wonderful comments about the Adult Choir Christmas musical this past Sunday. Anita Kendrick did a marvelous job in leading them, and Sandra Stockstill’s and Mendy Miltier’s specials were awesome. Sandra even signed a portion of her song! And, the Holy Spirit moved so powerfully as the choir sang. Thank you to everyone who was involved. Brad would have been proud of you!
It was so special to open the 8:30 service with the baptisms of Mrs. Grace McKnight and Branden Ott. Mrs. Grace is an 82-year old grandmother, and Branden is a police officer with the city of New Orleans. Branden was recently wed to Brittany Dean. Branden’s baptism was also his public profession of faith, and I presented him for membership from the baptistery. Please welcome Branden to the RPBC family!
The Erwins’ Christmas concert on Saturday night was beyond words. Many people came up to me that night and since to tell me how much they enjoyed them. They are a special young family who are at the top of the charts of Southern Gospel music, and we were blessed to have them.
We are looking forward to hearing the Handbell Choir this Sunday. Ever since Brad “dusted off” the handbells and put together this awesome group of ringers, they have added so much to our services when they perform, especially at Christmas. Come hear them and bring someone with you!
Brad got home last night! We praise the Lord for his miraculous work in Brad’s life. Please continue to pray for him as he heals and gets his strength back. Hopefully he will be back with us soon!
You Are Loved!
Dan
