The Michigan Student Data System (MSDS) will be offline for scheduled maintenance beginning Friday, April 11, as part of the Spring General Collection closeout process. This maintenance is expected to take approximately three business days. The MSDS application will reopen once the closeout is complete.
Good news! Even during this downtime, districts can continue to access essential student data services – such as UIC Services and Snack-Pack – through their Student Information System (SIS). These services are made available through the Michigan DataHub in collaboration with CEPI.
With CEPI Services integrated into your SIS via MiDataHub, you can easily perform UIC searches, linkages, resolutions, and requests – without needing to log into MSDS. This means uninterrupted support for your student data workflows, even while MSDS is temporarily unavailable.
If you haven’t yet enabled these CEPI Services, we encourage you to explore them in our Product Catalog. Simply type “CEPI” into the keyword search to learn more about each available feature.
