Spirit, Frontier Airlines Reportedly Renew Merger Talks

Budget carriers Frontier Airlines and Spirit Airlines have reportedly re-engaged in merger conversations two years after a proposed deal fell apart.

Citing people familiar with the matter, the Wall Street Journal reports that the two airlines have recently discussed a possible merger. However, sources say the talks are at an early stage and a deal is not guaranteed.

Board Election Voting Opens November 4th

Be sure to mark your calendars for the Board Election, which will open Monday, November 4th and will close on Wednesday, November 6th at 5:00 PM ET. IDOT, IDNR advise public to watch for amorous deer during peak mating season

Scenic drives are a must in Illinois in autumn and with the height of fall colors, people will be spending a lot of time on the road. The Illinois Department of Transportation and Illinois Department of Natural Resources are reminding the public to be alert for deer, which are entering their peak mating season, especially at dawn and dusk now through December.
