February 2023 News
A Mad Goal
The goal of $5,000 for March Madness 2023 has been set, and thanks to you and the Partnership for Better Health, M&T Bank, The Josiah W. and Bessie H. Kline Foundation and The McCormick Family Foundation, we have the best opportunity to meet it as all gifts made to Charles Bruce Foundation this month will be increased by tapping a $150,000 stretch fund. The first $1,000 of giving is guaranteed to be doubled, and any additional donations will receive a proportional match.

Developed by the Partnership for Better Health in 2016, Match Madness is a way to connect our organization to a community of donors. Match Madness strengthens and encourages giving and promotes additional generosity. Your focused energy, along with the Partnership and others’ matching dollars, will provide more support for our mission. This is your annual opportunity to maximize your giving to Charles Bruce Foundation.

There is no minimum contribution, but all contributions must be received/post marked by March 31, 2023. It is preferred that you use your credit card and give using the Partnership for Better Health’s online donation page which you can access using the QR code or button found below. Donations may also be made by check and mailed to:

Partnership for Better Health
274 Wilson Street
Carlisle, PA 17013

Remember, they must be made payable to the Partnership for Better Health AND include "Charles Bruce Foundation" in the memo line of the check to ensure it is applied to our organization. The Partnership is unable to accept cash.
Things Unseen
Jason Seaux continues to make Invisible seen. He will be promoting the comic along with his own Necro-man series on March 17th-19th at Creature Feature Weekend. The event is promoted online as, "A horror convention and film contest in Historic Gettysburg. We cannot wait to bring you independent features and short films by up and coming directors and to have some of them introduced by the director and cast themselves! Best of all will be that all of the movies will be shown in the R/C Gateway Theater in Haunted Gettysburg." We're Number 1!
Although you rarely hear shouts of "We're number two,!" it is quite a distinguished position for the youngest author in the Charles Bruce Foundation writers group, Ronan Russell, to hold. Kursid Kids leapt out of the gate to advance to that position in the nation for juvenile fiction fantasy and magic. With the skilled writing assistance of Pat LaMarche and artwork of Aron Rook, you would be well served to add it to your reading list during March's National Reading Month. Who knows. With your help, maybe we can push the book to number 1. Use the link below to the official Kursid Kids website to donate for a copy. You can also use the last link for a new paperback copy of Pat LaMarche's book, Priscilla, Princess of the Park.
