Dear Centenary Family,

There's a lot going on in the United Methodist Church these days as you know. One of the exciting things in the Virginia Annual Conference is that we are welcoming a new bishop--Bishop Sue Haupert-Johnson who comes to Virginia after serving as the Bishop of the North Georgia Annual Conference.  Here is a video that will help you get to know our new bishop a little better.

Saturday, February 4, an Installation Service for Bishop Sue will be held at Woodlake United Methodist Church at 10:30 a.m. if you'd like to attend. Learn more about that service here.

I am personally excited about Bishop Sue's vision for the next version of the emerging United Methodist Church and look forward to us here at Centenary continuing to be a vital congregation rooted in the city, bearing witness to God's all inclusive love.
