Dear Parents,

This was perhaps the most exciting week of the year!

On Wednesday, we invited our staff to walk the red carpet and receive Superhero Capes and Rockstar Teacher Tiaras. They were informed that Washington called and declared that Kids For Kids Academy once again has achieved NATIONAL NAEYC Accreditation, our 4th consecutive 5-year award. This accreditation is an honor given to just 4% of High-Quality Early Learning Programs NATIONWIDE.

Also this week our kids ages 4 and up had a guest speaker. A police officer came and did a presentation on Stranger Danger and for the younger kids, the Buckle Bear presentation on car seat safety.

REMINDER: As posted on our summer calendar both on our website and on our front door, we are open until 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 10th. From 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday and all day Friday, August 11th (WE ARE CLOSED) as staff will be preparing our classes for our annual Parent Open House and our new school year as well as Proofessional Development. Please make arrangements now...CLOSING AT 2:00 PM on August 10th and CLOSED on August 11. There will be a sign up sheet going up next week for parents to sign up for the Open House on August 11th. There will be 3 time slots, 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm. For social distancing purposes we will limit the number of guest at each one. Each family may have 2 adults in attendance, children are asked to stay home.
