Maytime Musings
Among the changing months, May stands confessed
The sweetest, and in fairest colors dresses!
James Thompson, Scottish Poet, (1700-48)
This month of May is certainly living up to the Scottish’s bard’s expectations! The Californian countryside is in super bloom and the weather is spectacular. May is crammed full of holidays, May Day, Cinco De Mayo, Memorial Day and Mother’s Day, plenty to celebrate and lovely long evenings to unwind and watch the sunset.
May is the bridge between spring and summer, it hosts the Flower Moon and everywhere we see plants springing up and blossoms popping. For some of us this triggers the irritation and discomfort of seasonal allergies and this month we consider CBD’s usefulness for treating the common symptoms.
Exciting results from new scientific studies on CBD’s effectiveness against RNA viruses is the subject of our full-length article, considering the implications for immunity from infectious diseases from Covid to the Common Cold!
Finally, we just had to share this short video of a Maytime surprise visit to the Wizard of Woodacre by a very young woodland creature on his 80th Birthday!
