Hellooooo February! January slipped by us like a bandit and we are now sailing into the month of Love ❤️ We not only Valentine's Day and President's Day to look forward to, there are all kinds of crazy "holidays" in February on tap! Like National Bubble Gum Day, Tug of War Day, and Change Your Password Day 🙄 Did you know February 9th is National Pizza Day! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. The month of Love ❤️ is also Chocolate Lover's Month, makes sense! National Bird Feeding Month, we can help with that! National Care about your Indoor Air Month, we can help with that too! AND it's also Spunky Old Broad's Month (I see you Jacque - Paul's Superfan!)

We accepted Round-Up Donations at our registers at our Fountain Hills location for the Fountain Hills High School Athletic Booster club in order to assist them raise funds to help replace their condemned soccer and football field. Once I think there is a record amount raised, you all surprise me! Look at what our amazing customers helped us raise at just our Fountain Hills location! An incredible $3574.21! Add the amount we raised in our other locataions (that we weren't actively advertising the round up) plus the Paul's 10% match, and we are able to give a grand total of $3950.68 back to our community! We are truly humbled to have the BEST customers on the planet. Thank you!
In honor of February being National Spay & Neuter Month, this month's Round-Up event is focusing on helping our furry little friends!!In some cases these are neighborhood rescues and others are non-profits that are near and dear to some of our Paul's Family. In all cases, they are wonderful and generous organizations that seem to have an endless stream of dogs and cats needing their help. See which organization YOUR Paul's location is supporting here! As always, Paul's matches 10% of the donations. Remember this is all completely voluntary and you are not relegated to just rounding up your purchase. It's back! Concours in the Hills 2023! |
The Concours in the Hills 2023 is THIS weekend! This 9th Annual FREE event in Fountain Hills happens this Saturday, February 4th from 10am-3pm at Fountain Park in Fountain Hills, you can't miss it. It is a free event, but donations are completely welcome and they all go to our very own Phoenix Children's Hospital. Last year they raised over $430,000 for PCH! We are again looking forward to this year's event - it's going to be incredible.

If you haven't looked at your citrus trees lately, it's getting to be that time. Especially with the beau-ti-ful temps we've had lately! Our tangerine tree is going berserk! This is definitely the time of year you start to get enough citrus from your tree you have made lemonade, orange juice, lemon bars, orange chicken, lemon meringue, lemon chicken AND you've brought in a large box or bag for your co-workers. (That all sounds delicious so if you have extra, you know, send it my way). Citrus isn't one of the 5 C's of Arizona for nothing! Hard to believe it folks, but it is time to fertilize!
There are three times throughout the year you should be feeding your citrus trees and the first time is now. Your fruit trees need food in February/March, May/June and August/September. Here are some instructions for fertilizing and more need to know facts to help you keep them healthy. Also make sure to harvest your fruit before it falls to the ground and attracts rats and other animals! These fruit pickers make it easy to get to all of that tall hanging fruit. January's Artisan Market was AWESOME! We had several featured local crafters, artisans, vendors, a food cart AND coffee truck!
