Banquet Series: Columbia

Less than One Week Away!

The Conservation Federation Banquet Series is back in Columbia, and we are thrilled to have MDC Director, Sara Parker Pauley as our keynote speaker. Join us on Thursday, July 13th at the Columbia Bass Pro Shops for an evening filled with fun activities, raffles, silent and live auctions, food and more. Also, MDC Commissioner Barry Orscheln will be honored for his time on the Commission. This event is a must-attend for outdoor enthusiasts, conservationists, and anyone interested in learning more about the MDC's work and initiatives. Pull for Conservation: Central

Get ready for a day of fun and excitement at our upcoming Pull for Conservation: Central trap shoot event! On Saturday, August 12, we invite you to join us at Prairie Grove Shotgun Sports for a thrilling day of clay shooting. Whether you're an experienced shooter or a beginner, we have something for everyone. Take part in our Two Shooter Scramble and Individual Shooter Clays for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights. Plus, we have a few special games and activities planned to keep the excitement going throughout the day. CFM Photo Contest

Now Open

Now's your chance to show off your best pictures of Missouri's natural resources. This year's categories include Plants and Animals, Waterways, Landscapes, and Nature in Your Backyard. There are prizes for winners of each category, and a $250 prize for first place overall! Photos must be taken in the past year and in Missouri. Thank you to Land Learning Foundation for sponsoring this years contest.

Managed Deer Hunt Applications Now Open

Applications for MDC's managed deer hunts opened up on July 1 and closes July 31. There are managed hunt opportunities throughout the state using a variety of hunting methods. To learn more and apply visit MDC's website HERE.

CFM 2024 Election- Now

Accepting Candidates

CFM’s ability to successfully achieve its mission depends on having an enthusiastic board with wide and varied backgrounds. Throughout its history, CFM has been fortunate to have outstanding volunteer leadership.

 The nominating committee is currently seeking candidates for the 2024 ballot as follows:

· Vice President (1)

· Executive Committee (2)

· NWF Alternate Representative (1)

· Board of Directors (4)

To learn more about the roles and responsibilities, as well as preferred (but not required) qualifications and experience for each. You may nominate yourself or another person by completing the nominations and bio forms located at our website HERE, and submit with a photo as instructed on the website by August 11.

2024 CFM Convention March 1-3

Save the date! CFM's 2024 Convention will be held March 1-3 at the Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, MO. We will continue to have our Banquet Dinner, Conservation Awards Ceremony, auctions, educational seminars, and more! Stay tuned for more details coming in the next few months.
