Recital Costumes
We spend many hours determining the correct costumes for each class. Costumes are age-appropriate and of the highest quality possible.
Distribution
Recital Costumes are being distributed this week! To ensure that there are no costume problems, students should not wear their costumes, accessories, or tights prior to the in-studio dress rehearsal or performance. As Recital Costumes come home be sure to label each costume piece with your dancer's name.
Alterations
Although rare, alterations are sometimes needed after the costumes have been distributed and are the responsibility of the student’s parent or guardian.
Ballet Costumes: Ballet Levels 3 & up
In an effort to keep costume costs down, and to present a classic and elegant appearance, Ballet 3-8 costumes are created by accessorizing the students’ dress code leotards with a skirt and headpiece. Skirts & Headpieces will be distributed May 19-24 during In-Studio Dress Rehearsal Week. Leotard color must match those in our boutique (see chart below) and must be in good condition (no rips, stains, holes, or faded color). Leotard style must be camisole/spaghetti strap or thin tank. Stage lights will enhance any color discrepancies.
