Unfortunately, our Church was impacted by one of the Hurricane Milton feeder band tornadoes. This caused significant damage to the Church itself, the Parish Hall, as well as many of the beautiful oak trees in our parking lot.
The Diocese of Palm Beach has visited our grounds to assess the damage and we already have crews in place working to clear our parking lot and are developing a plan to restore our Church. This will take some time as the damage is severe.
Due to this situation and the lack of power, we must cancel all Masses, Confessions, and other activities this weekend. Due to damage, the Adoration Chapel will remain closed until further notice as well. Once power is restored and our parking lot is safe, we will begin having Mass in the Parish Hall. When power is restored our Parish Office will be once again open for business, if you have a particular need for a Priest please try to call us at 772-231-0671. While our Parish Office will soon be open, we ask for safety reasons, please refrain from unnecessary visits to the campus as the parking lot is not safe.
At this time we would like to extend a special note of gratitude to all the donors who contributed to the capital campaign to protect our stained glass windows. If that project had not been completed we would have certainly lost our beautiful stained glass and much more during this storm.
Repairing the damage to our Church will take time, however, we are grateful to God that our buildings remain. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding throughout what will undoubtedly be a lengthy process. Please continue to pray for healing and restoration, for all those who have been affected, and those who have lost their lives as a result of the storm. We trust in His plan and will continue to send out communications regarding scheduling and facility availability as we are currently operating on a day by day basis.
Very Sincerely Yours in Christ,
