Excitement continues at First Baptist Lenoir City!
Excitement continues to build here at First Baptist Church! We wanted to provide a quick update on the progress of our building/renovation. Phase 1 is renovating the former library area and the front of the church office to provide much-needed nursery and preschool spaces. We have two new architectural renderings to share with you regarding Phase 1.
This picture shows the new nursery area for bed babies with an additional check-in station for families.
This picture shows the expanded Kids' check-in area including two new private, convenient family restrooms.
Working with our architectural firm, we have submitted this project for construction bids. We hope to receive firm construction costs for Phase 1 soon, but for now, the estimated cost is $450,0000.
Giving to Date
The church family has given $319,000 to the building fund. On our webpage, https://myfbclc.org/excitement/ we have a link where you can submit a gift to the building fund and also find a document entitled, "Ways to Give,” which lists numerous avenues to give now or leave a future legacy gift(s).
Please remember our promise: we will build only when cash is in hand. We are not going back into debt for this project. Your continued giving and gifts are essential for moving us forward together to provide additional nursery and preschool space.
