Since the global pandemic began in 2020, our ministry has had to revise the typical structure of our international church-based healthcare clinics. Due to government and health department regulations, our clinics have been required to observe social distancing, which has limited the number of patients we have been able to treat. By God's grace, those regulations have ended, and as a result, during our May clinic in Fraijanes, Guatemala, our mission team treated the biggest group of patients since 2020!

Our U.S. healthcare team consisted of 21 individuals, including doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, a pharmacist and pharmacy tech, and many lay people. Our U.S. team was joined by close to 50 volunteers from a local Guatemalan church who served in almost every capacity of the clinic, including registration, translation, food prep, and cleaning duties, and of course, staffing our Clinic of the Soul.

Also, our network of Guatemalan healthcare partners continues to grow - during one clinic day, our U.S. team was joined by three Guatemalan physicians, two physical therapists, and 10 medical students, many whom served as translators.

By God's grace, our combined healthcare mission team treated 1154 patients, and 67 of those men, women, and children made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ! Our ministry is excited to hear how our church partner in Fraijanes will be impacted by this wonderful harvest in their local community.

Summertime is filled with Caring Partners medical mission trips! On June 22nd, a team of 25 from the USA will travel to Guatemala to serve with our National Director and Guatemalan church partners to serve in the community of Santa Elena. The team will be comprised of doctors, nurse practitioners, a pharmacist, laypeople, and 12 university students, all with an interest in medicine, allied health, or nursing.

This July, Rick & Jenny Lalli will take a team of 28 from the USA to serve with Pastor Prakash and his church in Orange Walk, Belize. Our ministry is excited to return to Belize, as this will be our first journey there since the beginning of the pandemic. Pray for our US and Belizean mission team as we minister to the men, women, and children of northern Belize, and for the Holy Spirit to move and work in the communities where our team will serve.
Prayers & Praises
Praise God, Caring Partner has recruited a healthcare mission team to return to Thailand this November! Our team will serve alongside our Thai National Director, Pastor Jay Orata and his family. Pray for each team member as they continue to raise funds to make their dream of serving the Lord in Thailand a reality. God is able!

Pharmaceutical supply chain issues and rapid inflation are affecting CPI mission trips in many ways, including limiting the amount of affordable multivitamins and medications for our mission work. Would you like to contribute to our Evangelism Through Medicine global outreach by purchasing vitamins and over the counter medications for our mission trips? If so, click the button below to visit our Amazon Wish List page - once purchased, these products will ship to our warehouse in Franklin, Ohio at no cost!
