We are thrilled with the response to the ACMS Distinguished Awards event! Registration has been strong, and many members have purchased tables to enjoy a night out with their colleagues. Please note, registration will close on Monday, November 4th, so be sure to secure your tickets before the deadline.

House of Delegates 2024 Kicks Off This Weekend

The 2024 House of Delegates will resume business on Saturday, Oct. 26 in Hershey. Any voting delegates who are looking to make any amendments to a resolution during business at HOD, please complete the long amendment form to have your wording ready.

All ACMS Delegates and Alternates should have received all necessary updates via email last week.

West vs. East - Who Will Win?

Did you know that there is a friendly PAMPAC fundraising competition happening between the Western side of PA and Eastern side of PA? Think of the competition as the Eagles vs. the Steelers, the Pirates vs. the Phillies, or the Flyers against the Penguins. If you’re not a sports fan, think cheesesteaks vs. pierogies, or the Carnegie Museum of Art against the Barnes Museum.

Either way, it’s a friendly West vs. East competition to raise money to support PAMPAC! The winning side of the state will be announced at HOD this weekend! So get your donations in this week to help the West bring home the victory!

Renew Your License!

It is a medical license renewal year. Before this year’s end, you will need to renew your license to continue practicing medicine in Pennsylvania. What are the CME requirements to renew an active license?

DO Renewal: 100 total credit hours in a two-year license renewal period ending October 31.

MD Renewal: 100 total credit hours in a two-year license renewal period ending December 31.
