Learn Tony's Story

Grace Beyond Bars: Prison Ministry Presentation

Join us on Sunday, April 6, at 5 pm in Rooms 104-107 to learn about Justice for Tony. Following Pastor Susan's "Grace Beyond the Bars" Bible study last year, we'll hear from one of the lawyers representing Tony Apanovitch. Despite exonerating DNA evidence proving his innocence, Tony remains imprisoned today—the only person in America sentenced to capital punishment twice for the same crime. Special guest Robbie Seaton-Todd and Pastor Susan will discuss how faith communities can join the urgent justice-seeking mission for Tony. Click the button to read about this compelling case.

This fun evening of food and fellowship begins at 5 pm when we progress from house to house, enjoying appetizers and a main course, ending the evening at the church for a combined dessert. Childcare will be provided at the church. You may sign up to host people at your home for either appetizers or a main course, or bring an appetizer, side dish, or dessert. No matter how you decide to participate, you are in for a night of great conversation and laughs. Cost is $10 a person, which helps cover main course expenses.

Holy Week & Easter

Youth Sunday & More!

April 13

Our entry into Holy Week will be led by our youth this year! Join us for Palm Sunday on April 13, also Youth Sunday! No one is more fit to lead this extravagant parade than our youth and children. Let us follow them as they use their gifts to help us jubilantly welcome Jesus' return to Nazareth. After Youth Sunday worship, children can join Pastors Sigrid and Susan for a parking lot Color Run. The pastors promised to be doused with colored powder if we met our stewardship goals. Since we exceeded our goals for the number of pledging units and total dollars, children are invited to participate in the celebration!

Maundy Thursday

Join us for a Maundy Thursday service in Fellowship Hall, where we'll partake in a ceremonial meal much like the supper Jesus shared with his friends before his betrayal. Named Maundy, which means "new covenant," this meaningful service will include Holy Communion, beautiful music, and the traditions Jesus introduced. The service begins at 7 pm and will take place in person.

Good Friday

Gather with us for this sacred evening of worship, when we'll recall Jesus' final hours. We'll be reminded that love reigned even in the world's darkest moment.

The sanctuary lights will gradually dim as we share in the emotion of the story. Join us at 7 pm in our sanctuary or online.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny is hitting the trail on Easter Sunday, April 20. It’s our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Easter Egg Hunt follows the 8 AM service. Meet in Fellowship Hall at 9:15 a.m. Based on children’s ages, you will be directed to designated areas. We’re requesting candy donations (please, no candies containing nuts due to potential allergies). Please drop off wrapped candies in the Narthex on Sunday mornings. Thank you!
