October 8th Board Meeting

Notes From The President

We had a smaller turn-out, this month, with about a dozen homeowners present.

We quickly reviewed five sets of minutes – the Sept. 12 Board meeting and four closed/Executive sessions for May 14, June 19, August 30, Sept. 12. Each was approved. (Editors note: the minutes are available on the website.)

Karen Fleming, subbing for Wayne DeBus, presented the Financials for September. They were approved.

The Board received four requests for exemptions related to Property Maintenance. Ralph Whitney, Committee Chair, walked through the exemption requests closely. The board is trying to be fair on appeals without conflicting with our Declaration of Restrictions.

The board proposed and approved temporary loading/unloading of RVs and camper trailers. This shall not exceed 24 hours at any one time. No more than one temporary loading/unloading period is allowed in any 7-day period.

The board proposed and approved a schedule of fines, which will be added to our Rules & Regulations.

Villa Monterey 5 swimmers will continue through Oct. 15. They are very impressed with our pool and surrounds.

Agenda item 6) b), 7) b) and 8) were not covered due to time constraints.
