Hurricane Milton Impacts at Holy Cross Catholic Church

Wednesday Update

"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come.

We have only today. Let us begin." Mother Teresa

Dear Parish Family,

We are excited to share that we are diligently progressing towards restoring our beloved Church! While we still have a journey ahead before the building is ready for use, we are thrilled to announce that we will begin celebrating Mass in the Parish Hall starting with the 4:00 p.m. service on Saturday, October 19th. Additionally, confessions will be available in the Parish Hall at 11:00 a.m. on the same day. Following this, we will resume our regular Mass schedule, with all services held in the Parish Hall until we can once again gather in our beautiful Church.

For the time being, please enter and exit through the Iris Lane entrance, as the A1A entrance remains unsafe for travel.

Fr. Tom and Fr. Serge continue to offer private Masses for all the intentions you have entrusted to us until October 19th.

We truly appreciate your patience and support as we embark on this hopeful new chapter!

We kindly ask that you refrain from visiting the Church building, as it is a construction zone and poses certain hazards.

In more joyful news, we are reinstating our regular activities in the Parish Hall! We warmly invite all parishioners, young and old, to join us for our Fall Festival on Thursday, October 24th as we come together as a vibrant Parish community.

Your prayers, support, and patience mean the world to us during this time.

May God bless you all as you keep our parish in your thoughts and prayers!
