Financial Aid

The first refund day of the semester is Thursday, February 23.

BankMobile will be utilized again based on the account settings that you created prior or will need to create. The BankMobile website can be accessed here.

Refunds typically do not get sent until the afternoon, so don’t panic if you do not see your refund first thing in the morning.

Why does my refund amount look different than what I was expecting?

  • You have a class with a late start. These courses cause delays in disbursement as Financial Aid is required to verify your attendance before the funds are released.
  • This refund only contains a portion of your loan amounts due to a split disbursement process. Pending full-time enrollment, these will be sent to you later in the semester.
  • Something may be missing. Checking your NOW account, Northern email, and completing requirements in a timely manner are critical to receiving the funds you expect.

Please feel free to reach out to financialaidoffice@wvncc.edu with any questions. We are here and happy to help. During these exceptionally busy times, please allow 24-48 hours for a response.
