"From Generation to Generation" Advent Devotional
Christmastide
| |
This Advent, we will be using a devotional resource called “From Generation to Generation” produced by A Sanctified Art. The Adult Education and Discipleship Committee hopes that the variety of ways that this devotional resource explores some of the central texts of this Advent season will enrich your understanding of those texts and their meanings today.
Each Wednesday, the devotional book invites you to do some journaling, and your pastors will be sharing with you through video their own reflections on the theme and the biblical text for that week. Haven’t picked one up yet? Access the devotional online by clicking here.

For the week of Christmastide, we are visiting John 1:1-14, and celebrating the miracle of the Word of God becoming flesh and dwelling among us, in the form of Jesus Christ. Click below to hear a reflection by Ansley Page, as she looks back on her very first Christmas with First Presbyterian. | |
Sunday Greeters Needed!
Looking for an easy way to get involved in the church? Come share your smile and help greet on Sunday mornings! We need three greeters each Sunday- one to welcome those coming to Sunday school from 9:30-9:55 and two to welcome Sanctuary worshippers from 10:30 to 11:00.
All you have to do is stand outside your assigned door and welcome people as they arrive! (You are welcome to bring your kids to help as well!) We just ask that you bring your warm smile and friendly face.
