Tickets to Disney's The Little Mermaid in Steinmetz Hall at the Dr. Phillips Center go on sale today. This is a fun-filled and appropriate play for all ages!!

Thursday, May 18th, 2023

Time: 7:30 pm

Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World." Ariel, King Triton's youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric in the world above, bargaining with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea.

Dress Code Reminder

As we move into Spring, it is an excellent time to remind our school community of our dress code. We will be tightening up our expectations moving forward. It has always been a hallmark of the school that when you look good, you do good. We have noticed an increase in students not complying with our dress code standards. Students who are found to be out of dress code will have parents notified, and at times a parent may be contacted to bring appropriate attire for his/her child. To review the Park Maitland School dress code guidelines, please click here.

Brady's Stocking kick-off

Feb 21 - March 21

This highly-anticipated project is our third-grade civic outreach adventure, and it is intended to support some of the needs of a variety of rescue groups in our community. Our gifts will help local canine and feline rescue groups, as well as the Audubon Birds of Prey Center. It will also provide aid to one of our very own 2023 rescues, our beloved eleven-year-old “King,” who is making positive steps in foster recovery with each passing day!

DRESS DOWN DAY

Thursday, February 23rd

On Monday, February 6, both Turkey and northern Syria experienced a magnitude 7.8 earthquake devastating much of the area.

The Malik family reached out to see how we could help. With their assistance, we will be donating to Turkish Philanthropy Funds. From Adam and Zara:

“You should dress down and donate money because many Turkish kids have lost everything and need to rebuild their lives. We want the Park Maitland family to help contribute to the lives of many in Turkey after this devastating event.”

Billing News

We encourage every family to check their ALMA account on a weekly basis.

Checking your account regularly will allow you to view any incidental charges and/or updates to your account and more importantly allow time if there are any adjustments that need to be made prior to the billing due date.

Please be reminded that monthly tuition billing will load to your account on the 1st of each month. All charges are due by the 5th of the month.

If your family is signed up for ACH, all monthly charges will draft on the 3rd. Late payments will incur a 1.5% late fee charge. We appreciate your efforts and partnership to meet these expectations.

Please do not hesitate to contact the Business Office with any questions and/or concerns.
