FALL STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN CONTINUES | |
The Fall Stewardship Campaign is continuing to demonstrate the vibrancy and faithfulness of the Saint Paul's community. Our stewardship gatherings are underway; they have provided opportunities for meaningful and encouraging conversations about what we hold most dear, about how we love God and our neighbors.
Please take a moment to sign up for one of the two remaining gatherings. We'll enjoy good food and fellowship, and we'll come to see stewardship in the light which beautifully reflects our commitment to "living and sharing the Good News."
Sunday, Nov. 17, 12:30 A light lunch will be provided (Tyler Hall) *
Tuesday, Nov. 19, 5:30 Beverages and hors d'oeuvres (Berlin Room)
* This gathering is especially for families with young children. The EYC (with adult supervision) will enjoy pizza and playtime with our young children.

Dear People of Saint Paul's,
I want to point out to you a few coming opportunities to ground ourselves in what is real and true. This Saturday, the Daughters of the King are sponsoring a Quiet Morning at the church from 9:30 to 12:30. We'll begin in the chapel and move through times of praying together and praying in quiet solitude for the next three hours. In this moment when the world is so loud, come spend a morning in the quiet, where we can hear God and our own deepest selves.
Then, join us at one of our remaining stewardship gatherings for intimate conversation about what matters most to us as a church, and how we plan to live into those values. We have already had two of these gatherings and it has been so life-giving to me to talk frankly and tenderly with each other about how God is calling us to move forward, and the logistics of how we can best respond in faith. We'll meet again on Sunday at 12:30 (with lunch and childcare provided) and then on Tuesday night at 5:30 (beverages and snacks provided). Please sign up and join us for one of these conversations.
And finally, this month our caring prayer group will meet on Thursday, November 21 at 3:30 in the chapel. This open group gathers to pray together, to check in with one another, and to support each other in whatever we are struggling with (grief, stress, fear, trials, whatever).
In a hectic and chaotic time, I invite you to take one or all of these opportunities in the coming week to deepen your connection to God, yourself, and your brothers and sisters in Christ.
