Here we are at the end of our fifth year together, and I am honored — although not surprised — to reflect on all we have accomplished in 2022! Our Chamber makes an impact with our partners in the corporate sector by improving the way DEI programs address LGBTQ+ issues. We make an impact with local, state, and federal government agencies and policy makers by ensuring the LGBTQ+ community is included in policies that affect our people. And we make a huge impact in how we bring financial justice to our community by strengthening our small business members as they thrive and grow, in ways that make all the difference to them and to our community at large.

In 2022, the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce:
- Achieved our goal of 400 members
- Opened a new office in Easthampton, MA
- Added 13 new corporate partners
- Launched a new department focused on LGBTQ+ education and training
- Secured funds and administratively supported Boston Pop-Up Pride so that it could happen
- Raised over $2 million to grow our statewide team from 4 to 10 people
- Delivered programing every month after listening to what you need
- Helped hundreds of members daily with technical assistance to grow their businesses
- Shared Member Monday business profiles to procure LGBTQ+ contracts
- Dominated in social media by having presence every day with good engagement
- Kept you informed and delivered monthly newsletters
- Was included — for the first time — in the state budget with a line item
- AND MUCH MORE!
We achieved these milestones together by being relentlessly BOLD, INNOVATIVE, STRATEGIC, and COMMITTED.
This community is a lifeline for many of us. Knowing that “we are family” and will continue to show up for each other is part of the magic that keeps us thriving and the love that keeps us making the world a better place. Thank you ALL for everything you do — in your jobs, in our community, and each other’s lives! Bring it, 2023!
Proudly,
Grace R. Moreno
