Get the Edge Enrollment Day

Prospective students are invited to join Edgecombe Community College for Get The Edge Enrollment Day on Wednesday, December 4. Visit ECC’s Academic Success Centers on both campuses, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. or 3–7 p.m. Explore campus life with tours and introductions to essential resources. Our friendly admissions team will guide you through the enrollment process, financial aid, class scheduling, tips for success, and more!

Congrats to the natural hair care graduates

There was a Natural Hair Care Graduation at Edgecombe Community College on Thursday, Oct. 24. Before stepping up to work on outside clients, students in the Natural Hair Care program undertake rigorous early training. They must complete a minimum of 60 hours of hands-on training before seeing clients. Congratulations to the Natural Hair Care graduates.

Prepare for a successful start to the upcoming semester! Priority Registration is November 18-December 4. Classes start on January 7. New students should complete the application process. Current students should use Starfish to schedule an appointment with their advisor or contact the Academic Success Center. Don’t delay. Plan now for spring semester. Veterans were recognized and honored on the Tarboro Campus of Edgecombe Community College. On Monday, Nov. 11, the Edgecombe Community College Student Veterans Association held a recognition ceremony. William “Kenny” Parker, an ECC Board of Trustees member, pastor and veteran served as the keynote speaker. Andrew Votipka, Vice President of Finance and Administration at ECC, recently spoke with WHIG TV about the upcoming live presentation of "Frosty," which will be performed by The Barter Players at Edgecombe Community College.

WRAL captured an ECC student who spoke about growth in Tarboro, including Amazon's recent purchase of land at the Tarboro Commerce Center.
