The Art Complex Museum presents Botanical Explorations: Mosaics and Paintings by Lisa Houck, an exhibition that features the intricate, colorful and expressive artwork of Boston-based artist Lisa Houck. Through her work with mosaics, Hauck creates "vibrant, imaginative images filled with color and pattern." Her work captures the shapes and formations of the natural world using found and created ceramic tiles. The opening reception for this show is on Sunday, Feb. 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday, 1 - 4 p.m. The Art Complex Museum is located at 189 Alden Street, Duxbury, MA. The Attleboro Arts Museum presents Influencer, an exhibition that highlights artwork from the museum's permanent collection and art produced by the museum's W. Charles Thompson Museum School students. As the exhibition's title suggests, the students were influenced by the work of masters held in the museum's collection. The students range in age from 5 -17 years and created works in acrylic paint, chalk pastel, graphite, ink, charcoal and clay. The museum is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Attleboro Arts Museum is located at 86 Park Street, Attleboro, MA. For more information, please visit here.
