Welcome to the Newfound Connection
Each edition of the Newfound Lake Region Association newsletter features events, news, trivia, and the people of the watershed—everything a Newfounder needs to know!

Giving Thanks

Newfound Lake remains clean and clear because this community chooses to protect it - thank you!

In this season of gratitude, we would like to express our thanks for the many ways you play a part in keeping the Newfound Watershed healthy. Thank you to:

And of course, the NLRA members and supporters that make all of our efforts possible.

Together, we can ensure Newfound Lake remains clean and clear for generations to come.

We're building a new home for conservation! With direct access to Newfound Lake and a water quality lab, the Grey Rocks Conservation Center will strengthen our scientific capabilities and response time to emerging conservation threats.

This has been an exciting few weeks, with dramatic progress on our conservation center. With the building envelope complete, NLRA’s Board of Trustees completed a walk-through of the building and reviewed the progress made to date. We're looking forward to getting the exterior wrapped up for winter; roofing, siding, and exterior trim are up next!

The Grey Rocks Conservation Center project is possible because of the enthusiasm and generosity of the Newfound community. Thank you!

Have Concerns About Lake Health?

Give Us a Call!

NLRA is a year-round resource for your lake health concerns.

We can help!

NLRA Conservation Manager, Paul Pellissier and Newfound Watershed Stewards, Hannah Fleisher and Shannon McCord, investigate a black substance reported at the foot of the lake on October 29, 2024.

NLRA has experts on staff to help address important lake health concerns. Please reach out with any lake questions or concerning observations, including suspicious plant growth, potential cyanobacteria blooms, unusual substances floating on or near the lake surface, or other signs of pollution.

Newfound Lake depends on all of us to keep it clean and clear! If you have a concern, call us at 603-744-8689 or email: Info@NewfoundLake.org.
