The Cleveland native has been visiting the Fleet since 1978 when he moved to San Diego. The first time Jonathan saw a documentary in the Heikoff Giant Dome Theater, he was amazed, so it is no surprise that the world’s first IMAX dome theater remains his favorite at the Fleet.
Jonathan has built a life in San Diego. He and his wife Jean have been married for 38 years and are proud parents of a son. He worked for 36 years as an electronic technician giving ground support to F-16 aircraft. The Fleet has continued to be a part of Jonathan’s and his family’s life. Of course, he is always excited to see the latest documentary, with his favorite being Cosmic Voyage.
Jonathan is now enjoying his retirement in his South Park home with his wife—and still excited about documentaries at the Fleet.
