It’s been a while since my last newsletter!

I want to share all the exciting news before the end of the year! So much to tell you!

FIRST OF ALL

DRUMROLL, PLEASE!

We have now raised $24,003 towards the total budget of $50K to complete the production of the movie! This is such a blessing and truly a “grass roots” effort. So many friends have donated and some more than once! That means there are many “co-producers” involved in the process of bringing my life story to the big screen!

Executive Director Tim Popadic and the Producer/Director Matt Ball from Collideascope Studios Limited are very excited about this project and totally sense the Lord’s anointing and blessing on this movie.

NO LONGER "SHORT"

More fabulous news! Initially, the movie was going to be in the “short” category (40 minutes), but since there is so much valuable material, they made the decision to make it into a full-length feature film, which is 60–70 minutes! To God be the glory!

MORE EXCITING FILMING

On December 13, 2022, I was asked to come to the beautiful studio in Lake Worth Beach, Florida, for a filming segment where I shared memories while perusing pictures from many different periods of my life. It was more of an informal “shoot” but very nostalgic. I want to share with you a few pictures from that day of filming.

THE NEXT STEP

The next step is to continue with the editing process and then begin to map out re-enactment scenes in various locations to bring in the creative content.

In order for this next step to happen, we need to raise the final $25,997 very soon.

GOD WILLING, EASTER 2023

The directors would like to see the movie released by Easter 2023, and then the trailer will be sent out to various faith-based film festivals for nomination!

I know this is the Lord’s movie, and He will get all the glory, so I have no doubt every penny and even more will be donated to see this movie fully funded.

It is a nonprofit fund, so you will receive a tax-deductible receipt. This can be especially helpful before the end of 2022 for a tax write-off!

“OVERCOMER”

I was recently contacted by Red Letter Awards for the movie to be nominated for the category of “Overcomer” in a Christian Film Festival in Tennessee that will be held in September 2023! I will keep you posted on the outcome!
