Law Society of Alberta Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Law Society of Alberta will be held on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024 by videoconference, commencing at 11 a.m.

For this meeting, please find:

• The 2024 agenda for the AGM.
• The 2023 AGM minutes.
• A copy of the Law Society of Alberta financial statements for the year ended Dec. 31, 2023.
• A copy of the Alberta Lawyers Indemnity Association (ALIA) financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2024.

Procedures for participation in the meeting can be found in Rule 33 of the Rules of the Law Society of Alberta.

If you want to attend the virtual AGM you must pre-register by 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024. After this deadline, you will receive an email from “Governance Meetings” by noon, Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024 with your unique meeting link.

If you do not receive your email meeting link, please check your junk email folder and if you still cannot find it, contact Governance. The deadline to reach out to the Law Society if you have not received your link is 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024.
