The Neutral Ground Board Member Scott Howard shares his WHY:
"TNG is a grass roots effort to lead by example in hopes that it will improve our civil discourse at every level, from Congress to the kitchen table. It enables me to address an aspect of our civic and political life that has gone awry: our unwillingness to listen and talk reasonably with one another. Instead of merely worrying and wringing my hands about this problem I can be part of an enthusiastic, carefully designed effort to restore communication behaviors that are critical to our democracy."
