August 9, 2024

As we kick off our Fall Semester this Sunday we hope you will join us! We will be diving deeper into some of our core values that have given Mt. Horeb the foundation that it stands on today. We will also have leaders from our small groups and classes available after services to answer any questions you may have about joining a group. We want to connect you in the church's life so don’t miss this opportunity!

Trevor Miller, Family Pastor, will be preaching in the Auditorium for the Contemporary Worship services; Bill Bouknight, Retired Guest GMC Pastor, will be preaching in the Sanctuary for the Traditional Worship services.

For those worshiping remotely, you're invited to watch our services online, on Facebook and YouTube.

Student Kickoff

Back-2-School-Bash (B2SB): Middle schoolers are invited to a special event where we close out the summer and celebrate the new school year. B2SB includes inflatables, games, prizes, free Pelicans, food trucks ($), and more. This is a middle school-only event; no advance registration is required. B2SB takes place this Sunday, August 11 from 4:30 – 6:00 PM.

Students Fall Kick-Off: All middle and high school students are invited to attend our Fall Kick-Off this Sunday, August 11 from 6 – 7:30 PM in the Student Room. This special student gathering will include outdoor games, snacks, worship, inspirational stories, and a sneak peek at the coming semester of student ministry. Students will also get the chance to meet their small group leaders for the school year. This is one of the few times each year that both middle and high school students are included in the same student programming night. No cost or registration is required.

Horeb is taking to address this growing need. We're excited to get those of you with a heart for foster/adoption in the same space as we build this ministry here at Mt. Horeb!
