From Mrs. Pudelko:

Dear St. Anthony Families,

You should have all received a notification text yesterday. Again, this will be the way to communicate should we have a school closing. Any closing information will also be posted on our social media and the local news stations. As a reminder, if school is closed due to weather, all school activities are also canceled, including sports practices.

I can't say it enough - THANK YOU to our Auction committee, donors, and all who attend our Auction for All. Final numbers are still being calculated, but we are so grateful for the strong support of our community, plus the opportunity to have such a fun night with friends. Kylee Rasch, Auction chair, shared a quick note:

As the Auction for All Chair, it is so important to say Thank you!!! Bringing this event back was exciting. Thank you for the support, attendance, donations, and words of encouragement. What I learned is that we are an amazing community. I am often reminded that it takes a village to raise a child. Well, it takes a village to put an event like this together, just as it takes a village to make it a success. It is no secret that I leaned heavily on the committee, without them I would have been lost. We cannot wait for next year's Auction; we already have plans in the works!

Thank you to all of our parents who attended conferences Tuesday and who plan to attend tonight. While these are long days for our staff, we love having the opportunity to meet with you. We hope your students enjoyed the new book fair - while the selection was a bit smaller, I was pleased that the primary focus was books! Thank you to our parents who volunteered their time. The book fair will be open from 10:00 - 11:15 am on Sunday morning if you still want to shop.

We will not have a newsletter next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Enjoy this extended weekend and time with family!

God bless -

Mrs. Pudelko

PS - Watch for Giving Tuesday updates - we have an opportunity to win Grant funds from Catholic Charities of West Michigan just by having parents and community members post on social media. We encourage your support!

Friendzy - November News:

Our catchphrase for the month of November is “Stress Less–Breath Easy.” We will discuss how stress affects our minds, emotions, and bodies and what we can do to calm down and think clearly.

C.A.L.M.

C: Count Your Breaths

A: Active

L: Listen & Pray

M: Make a Break

To demonstrate how stress can feel on the body, the students will compare heavy backpacks with things that can weigh them down and empty backpacks with no extra weight. We will also play a game where the students will dance and then learn a breathing technique to give their bodies rest.

“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” 1 Peter 5:7
