Crosstown Council and Staff will be gathering this Saturday, February 12, for our annual leadership retreat. This time together allows the team to spend time praying, visioning and strategizing for God’s Mission through our church.

We will be welcoming guest speaker Jon Kramka, who hails from the Northwest Conference office.

Pray for our Deacons, Elders, and staff as they gather to discern the leading of the Holy Spirit! Pray that these friends would hear the voice and calling of the Spirit as we pursue Jesus' direction for ministry in 2023.

We desperately want to stay faithful in these times, but we know we can’t muster up the faith all on our own. IF:2023 matters to us, because for two days we get to gather and remind each other that God is who we need. God is who will provide. We gather for two days of worship, with our Bibles

& We ask God to move.

Camp Scholarship Information:

“As a church community we are committed to not having money be an issue for a kid to go to camp. We want to scholarship kids’ camp up to $120. $85 towards Kids Camp (3 days) and $120 toward week long camp. All requests or questions can go to Polly. If additional scholarship money is needed, please ask! Camp is one of the best places on earth, and is committed to helping kids take the next step in their faith in Jesus.”

Finance Team Seeking Counters: Every Sunday following worship, we have a team that records and tabulates the offering gifts. Our Finance Team is looking for new persons to serve Jesus in this role. Last Sunday, February 5, our “Immerse–Prophets” series took us to Isaiah 58. Pastor John invited us to consider how this passage lives-out the prophet’s mission to “comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable!” Will you accept this challenge? What if you set aside 20 minutes and listened for the voice of God in this text? How is our Creator “afflicting” you? Where is the Spirit calling you forward as a disciple? Where are you “comforted” by Isaiah’s counsel? What if you shared your experience with a trusted friend?

Immerse Men’s Group - Thursday evenings, at Crosstown - 7-8:30 (8 weeks, began January 19)

Immerse Co-Ed Group - Wednesday evenings, at Crosstown - 6:30-7:45 (8 weeks, began January 18)

Crosstown Youth Ministry began our new series on February 8, Alpha for Youth, which seeks to create space for young people to hold meaningful conversations about life, faith and purpose.

Youth Together: On Sunday, February 19 immediately following church, the youth group will meet for lunch and thrifting! Parents, watch your email for details.
