How much do you know about the history of racism?
If you are like me, you didn’t learn much about racism in school. So now we have to learn as adults. For me, this learning is an important part of being a follower of Jesus. Jesus tells me to face the reality of the suffering of others. But it’s not easy.

Happily, I have found a group of people at our church who want to do exactly that. We started in ignorance, but are learning. And we are listening to how God may be calling us to understand the suffering of those hurt by the reality of racism.

Please join us! Our next meeting is Sunday, Jan 8, 4:00 to 5:30 pm at the Church. Let Nick know you are interested, or email us and ask questions.

Parking on Rosemary Street
Please do not block, even partially, the driveways of our neighbors on Rosemary Street. We have plenty of parking across the street in the Library lot (which the Church owns). We want to be good neighbors to our neighbors. Thank you!

"Circles of Caring" Ministry Reaching Out Again
Following on the success of the Circles of Caring calls during Lent, our team, guided by the Pastoral Response Ministry (PRM) will be reaching out again during the Advent and Christmas seasons. During what can be a difficult time of the year, we are looking to connect with our fellow parishioners, strengthen friendships, and help households know they are being thought of and prayed for. It is one of the ways we love our neighbor, as Jesus teaches. Don’t be afraid to answer your phones and check those emails--we look forward to connecting with you!
