You're invited to a Sing-Along!
March 19, after 10am Worship
On Sunday, March 19, immediately following the 10am service, join us to sing your favorite hymns and learn a popular anthem, “Sing a New Song unto the Lord.” If you’ve considered the idea of being in the choir, this is your chance to try it out (the time commitment is minimal). Plus, cookies and coffee will be involved! We’ll welcome you with open arms! For other information, please contact Virginia. Please send your hymn requests for the parish singalong by Monday, March 13. If your selection is not in The Hymnal 1982, we will need time to locate it (if possible) and print it before the event. Our copier will be inaccessible after Wednesday, March 15 due to floor repairs in the office.
Deep Dive Book Group
Every Wednesday, 7pm via Zoom
The Deep Dive Book Group continues studying On Repentance And Repair: Making Amends by Danya Ruttenberg this week. This book offers a crucial new lens on repentance, atonement, forgiveness, and repair from harm—from personal transgressions to our culture’s most painful and unresolved issues. The meeting schedule is available here.
This Week in Sunday School
This week we will continue our Faces of Easter series sharing the stories of Jesus's baptism and his time in the desert. Don't miss next week when we complete the series with the story of Jesus as a healer and parable teller, the story of how Jesus shared the bread and wine and, finally, the story of Jesus who was, and still is, Easter.
