Krumbs Breadery & Stuff
In 2012, two friends took a leap of faith and started something new and exciting; the official start of the new venture, Krumbs Breadery & Stuff, a rustic home bakery located in Clarington, a hop and a jump from downtown Newcastle, Ontario.
Taking their love of cooking to the next level has resulted in fresh, home made, delicious bakery items with the highest attention to quality, using healthy and fresh local ingredients.
People are excited about this good wholesome food, with no additives or preservatives. Krumbs’ bread is sweetened with honey and molasses, not sugar. We have heard that some families will only eat Krumbs’ bread, they love it so much!

ADRA Canada
Their office is right here in Newcastle.
WHO We Are: ADRA Canada was established in 1985 as part of the global Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) network that addresses extreme poverty, provides disaster relief, responds to emergencies, and engages in development work to help underserved people and communities with a presence in over 100 countries in the world. We work under the motto of Justice. Compassion. Love. Our office was first located in Oshawa, and in 2013, we were blessed with our building in the lovely township of Newcastle, where were continue our operations.

What We Do
To break cycles of extreme poverty and bring about lasting, positive change, it is necessary to commit to long-term, integrated programs that provide multiple interventions that bring water, sanitation, health, food and nutrition, education, and income opportunities. ADRA has been working to deliver programs and respond to disasters internationally and domestically. Notably, we have been working to build our national program and strengthen local community initiatives across Canada. We partner with Indigenous communities, eco-based initiatives, youth, and psycho-social support to build resilience in communities that lack access to essential services and address gaps.
We collaborate with local governments, ADRA network offices, partners, and other organizations to achieve these goals. Together, we are working to lift people out of poverty, establish hope, empower communities, and provide positive change worldwide and within Canadian communities.
