Church Property Beautification
To all parishioners who graciously adopted a garden at St. Martin's Church, if you are considering planting anything please take a look at this list of native plants to NJ. They are (1) beautiful, (2) attract many pollinators, butterflies, and hummingbirds, (3) mostly deer- & rabbit-resistant, and (4) do well in areas that get a lot of water run-off. Some are even drought resistant. [Caveat: three on the list that may be eaten are the common milkweed, the wild geranium, and the Turk's cap lily. And, sometimes deer will eat anything.]

A Celtic Mass
We will celebrate the Holy Eucharist in July and August using liturgical texts from the Irish, Scottish, and Welsh traditions. In July we will use a Rite based on ancient Celtic prayers. We will use a 7th-century Celtic Creed, a 10th-century Litany, and a eucharistic prayer from the 5th century. In August, we will use a more contemporary Celtic rite. Please join us as we celebrate the Celtic roos of our Anglican Spirituality.
