Our client is a western global leader in energy storage solutions and services for the telecommunications, utility, uninterruptible power supply, cable, broadband and renewable energy markets. They are one of the largest energy storage solution providers in the world and services all aspects of industrial energy storage, including battery installation, maintenance and recycling.


Title: Sales Manager - Stationary

Location: Indonesia (Home based)

Report to: Sales Director – Rest of Asia


Roles and responsibilities:

• Develop new customers and business opportunities in Indonesia.  

• Track changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply & demand in the region.

• Develop and execute business development strategic plan, procedures and processes for the market.

• Manage, support, collaborate with consultants, distributors, OE, and Customers to expand company’s battery market shares.

• Achieve yearly sales topline assigned to the region.

• Work with internal teams to ensure the highest level of customer service.

• Understand and effectively communicate the company's value proposition, newest technology, and processes.

• Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives; build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships


Requirements/skills:

• Self-motivated desire to go out and develop new business. Passion to develop and grow a new market from scratch.

• Local Indonesian dialect a MUST. Daily communication with US, China and SE Asia in English. Proficient English is a MUST.  

• “Battery” related sales/business development experience is a MUST. VRLA experience a PLUS.

• Degree holder or above in Electrical, Electronic or Chemical is preferred.

• Must be willing to travel in the region to meet new prospects, solve issues from clients, and attend industry-related conferences, exhibit and etc.

• Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization and external stakeholders. Coordinate and communicate with cross functional teams.

• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
