Pink Prom a Fun & Meaningful Night

Tulane Cancer Center faculty and staff showed up and showed out at last weekend's Pink Prom, one of three annual fundraisers benefiting our Breast Cancer Research Fund planned hosted by local grassroots organization Krewe de Pink. The night was full of fun, dancing, and a whole lot of pink, but most importantly, it was a celebration of hope and resilience in our shared battle against breast cancer.

Email expressions of interest, briefly describing the instrumentation, and indicating Track 1, Track 2, or Track 3, to dlovrov@tulane.edu


The number of MRI proposal submissions allowed per institution is as follows:

  • No more than two submissions are permitted in Track 1 (more than $100,000 to less than $1.4 million)
  • No more than one submission is permitted in Track 2 (greater than or equal to $1.4 million up to and including $4 million).

Proposal submissions within the two tracks may be either for acquisition or development of a research instrument.

  • Track 3 MRI proposals are those that request funds from NSF greater than or equal to $100,000 and less than or equal to $4,000,000 that include the purchase, installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and instrumentation to conserve or reduce the consumption of helium. Institutions may submit no more than one Track 3 proposal.

There are no limits to the number of preliminary proposals submitted as the lead organization. Full proposals are to be submitted only if/when invited by NSF. There is no limit to participation as a partner organization or sub-awardee.
