The 486 has been enhanced to enable users to define personalized alert thresholds for Room Hot, Room Cold, Humidity High, and Humidity Low conditions. Whenever the temperature of relative humidity surpasses these set thresholds, a notification is promptly dispatched via email or text message. The alert is automatically canceled once the temperature or relative humidity falls below the defined threshold.

July 25th - Residential Contractor Class - Residential Gas

This course covers residential atmospheric gas water heaters.

Topics Covered:

Basic water heater installation
Parts (mechanical and electronic gas valves, thermopile, burner, flame arrestor, door switch)
How it works: basic principles of atmospheric venting, sequence of operation

July 26th - Commercial Contractor Class - Commercial Gas

9am to 12 noon

This course covers installation and troubleshooting of gas commercial water heaters. Gas water heaters covered by this course include high efficiency power vent water heaters as well as standard atmospheric multi-flue water heaters.

Participants will learn:

How to properly install all water heaters covered in the course, with a focus on understanding how incorrectly installed water heaters affect water heater operation.
A complete understanding of how each water heater works following the sequence of operation
Troubleshooting with a focus on installation related issues and top service items will be covered for each equipment type.

Maintenance

"Ignite Your Knowledge" is a 5-week eLearning program on the Fire Protection Channel. Modules cover a variety of Fire Protection solutions including: Backflow Preventers, Pressure Reducing Valves (ACVs) Riser, and Tamper Switches.

From July 10-August 13, customers will earn Double Tokens by completing select Fire Protection eLearning modules at training.watts.com
