Historic Southbank Renovation Complete and Open for Business
With the preservation and renovation of one of the city’s most historic structures complete, a beloved Jacksonville corporate headquarters is now calling the Southbank home. Industry West began moving into the structure during the holidays and will officially celebrate with a grand opening this month. A $5.1M adaptive reuse project spearheaded by Corner Lot, the project converted the three-story, 13,500 square foot building located at 1001 Kings Avenue into a showroom and office for the custom furniture company. Formerly located in the historic City of South Jacksonville (1907-1932), the circa 1912 structure boasts a blend of preserved and new architectural features including the original brick façade, a stadium seating grand staircase, and a new skylight.
