July E-Tip
Practice Sustainability Outdoors
Summer in Colorado is amazing, and we all love to get out into nature to experience the wild beauty. When heading outside this summer, remember to bring your eco-consciousness with you. Practice Leave No Trace, maybe even taking it a step further by picking up and disposing of any trash you find on your journey. Try to purchase environmentally friendly bug sprays, sunscreen and bathroom essentials, drink from reusable water bottles, and be aware of local fire restrictions when camping. If you want to learn what is going on in our state, check out the Mountain & Prairie podcast, brought to you by The Nature Conservancy.

Vespers in the Garden
August 1, 7:00 PM
Last year's Vespers in the Garden was such a success, it's returning this year on Thursday, August 1. All are invited to come enjoy a time of prayer, followed by fellowship over lemonade, wine and desserts. The term vespers is from the Latin word for evening, vesperi, and Vespers has been called the "evening sacrifice of prayer." This is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends, meet newcomers, and offer God thanksgiving and praise. No RSVP required.

Hearing Loss Support
Listening Devices & Ministry
Did you know St. Michael’s has listening devices available for anyone challenged with hearing loss to use – whether or not you have hearing aids? In the middle of the foyer there is a table with devices set into rechargeable slots. Take one and try it out! Those without hearing aids can use the earpieces. Those with Bluetooth hearing aids can use the device WITHOUT the earpiece to connect through the T-Coil profile on your hearing aids.
In addition, St. Michael’s has initiated a NEW ministry for those with hearing loss and those who live with or support them. We encourage you to consider joining this ministry and attending their next meeting on Monday, July 22 from 6:00 - 7:15 PM. Please contact Rev. Vicki at vicki@stmikeschurch.com with any feedback or questions.
