Mark your Calendars! National Volunteer Week is April 27 to May 3!

South East District celebrates National Volunteer Week every year! We encourage communities to get involved! The contribution of volunteers to the sport, culture, and recreation sectors is vital to the success of programs, facilities, and events! Thank you to every volunteer – your dedication, enthusiasm, and time is what makes sport, culture, and recreation happen!

We would also like to take a moment to thank our incredible volunteer board members and mission staff who helped make the past Saskatchewan Games a success! Your hard work and commitment are truly appreciated.

The theme for National Volunteer Week 2025 is Volunteers Make Waves. It highlights the power, impact, and importance of individual and collective volunteer efforts across Canada. Like a wave, volunteering is movement building.

A special shout-out to our incredible speakers — Carissa Caruk-Ganczar, Flourish Leadership Development, Mackenzie Craigie, Town of Indian Head, Amanda Wallace, and Kaylee Ens, City of Weyburn.
