Welcome to July! The 2022-23 school year is done, and it’s time to focus on Adventure and Accessibility this summer. We’re sharing inclusive summer events, ways youth can exercise their self-advocacy skills and their bodies, and of course, some on-demand summer learning to fit into busy schedules so you and your youth can be as prepared for the next school year as possible.

ON-DEMAND TRAININGS

Our team is taking the summer to plan a chock-full year of virtual and in-person offerings in the 2023-24 academic year. But that does not mean the learning must end! FACT Oregon offers several on-demand trainings on popular topics. Sit back with some coffee, and watch and learn from home.

Partner Spotlight Event: THPRD Tri Together Pedal-Run-Dip

Did you and your family love the All Ability Tri4Youth? We’re THRILLED to share that THPRD has taken the inclusive model we built together and combined it with an existing Family Triathlon to create a NEW inclusive event - The Tri Together Pedal Run Dip! Sign up today for what we hope becomes an annual, sustainable, community-driven, and inclusive event for families and individual athletes young and old(er). 

 

FACT Oregon will be there on the day with resources and to support the event, and we hope to see you there!
