REGION 2 ARABIAN HORSE SHOW IS "STAYING ALIVE" AFTER 50+ YEARS...join us for a Disco Style few days - June 14-17 in Santa Barbara. A fun time will be had on Thursday afternoon, the last class of the day - calling all pros and their amateurs to get their disco style on and entry fees benefit AHDF...

Our all-breed schooling show offers tests at all riding levels including walk only. This is a great opportunity to try out English or Western dressage or sharpen your skills and rise to the next level. More information can be found on the website including an online fillable entry form.
We will also be featuring a demonstration of the equestrian sport of Working Equitation. Relatively new to the US this sport is growing in popularity.

Arabian Cow Horse Championship Horse Show
Mosey on over to the Snake River Stampede Arena and join cowboys and cowgirls from all over the US and Canada to compete at the Region 4 Cow Horse Championships.
The Ford Idaho Horse Park is a premier facility, hosting a variety of events each year including NCHA, NRCHA, NRHA and Arabian championship shows

Region 8 Volunteer Opportunities Available
The 2023 Region 8 Arabian and Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show will be held at the National Western Event Center in Denver, CO from June 28-July 2. Additional information and class schedules are available online.

We need volunteers from around Region 8 to help with the show to handle gates and serve our patrons' lunch each day. Our lunches are served from 11:30-1:30 each day on the concourse in the Event Center, so you can watch the show while serving lunch. To volunteer please contact Kea Kercheval by email, or 303-549-9320 (phone or text). If responding by email please put Region 8 Volunteer in the subject line. Region 16 Youth Meetings
The Region 16 AHYA Co-Directors invite all youth members, parents, trainers, and club members to join the Region 16 Youth meetings in 2023. Meetings will be held the first Monday of every month from 7:30-8:30 PM EST.

AAHABC returned to Thunderbird Show Park, British Columbia to present the May Classic Concurrent Horse Show from May 4 to 7, 2023. We welcomed judges; Carla Jackson (Ardrossan, AB), Tami Pacho-Douglas (Napa, CA), Margaret Boyce (New Westminster, BC), and Kathy Lifton (Langley, BC) all of whom provided valuable feedback to our exhibitors. The stands were filled with family and friends watching classes and reconnecting after a long winter.
This year we introduced the Youth Zone, where the kids could find snacks, drinks, and a seat to relax and have fun. A very special thank you to Shimona & Associates Mortgage Consulting for providing each and every youth member an AAHABC logo hoodie and oodles of goodies for the kids. The youth were highly active at this show, selling tickets, horse sundaes, building friendships, and showing.
Carla Jackson, Region 17 Director was on hand to present the 2022 Region 17 High Point awards of a vest and/or jacket. Congratulations to Club members, TJ Kelch, Ashleigh Morriss, Sam Bos, Polina Kouzmina, Nicole Quinn McCrae, Bonnie Schneider, and Emma Koehn on this great achievement.
Fall Frolic will run September 1-3 at Thunderbird Show Park in Langley, BC.

Our Eastern Canadian Breeders Championship will take place on the evening of Wednesday, July 19th
AHAEC Celebration & Region 18 Last Chance is CONCURRENT Main Ring Shows in 2023 on Thursday, July 20th in Ancaster, Ontario. Sport Horse and Dressage Classes, Working Western, Carriage Driving.
The 2023 Region 18 Championships will run July 21th and 22nd . New this year:
