In the words of Morgan Harper Nichols, “Choosing to have joy is not naively thinking everything will be easy. It is courageously believing that there is still hope even when things get hard.” Join us this week to explore how to HOLD ON TO HOPE, embracing a positive vision for the future and then doing the work to bring that vision to life.
This Week's Musical Guests: Kim Portnoy and Steve Schenkel
Kim Portnoy is recognized as a versatile composer of classical and jazz idioms. His compositions have been featured nationally and internationally at the Eastman Summer Trombone Institute in Rochester, New York; the Choral Music Experience Institute in Arvika, Sweden; the Guitar Foundation of America Conference at Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio and two International Association of Jazz Educator™s conferences, New Orleans and Atlanta.
