Hello everybody!
Happy Valentine’s Day! We know human love is a gift, a reflection, and a fulfillment of divine love. On this Valentine’s Day, may God’s love be poured into your hearts and into those of all you love.
Ash Wednesday is next week! As we enter the Lenten Season, I invite you to attend our Family Retreat, 40 Days, 40 Ways: a New Look at Lent, next Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. It may help to make your Lent this year intentional and meaningful and give a spiritual boost to your Lenten journey. Check our website for all of our additional Lenten offerings. Mass for Ash Wednesday will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. (with our school included) and at 7:00 p.m.
I also want to offer my congratulations to our three boys basketball teams that competed this past weekend for the Catholic Schools Athletic Association city championships. I am proud of their achievements, dedication, and commitment, but most of all for how they represent our faith community and give witness to Jesus Christ. Our 6th Grade boys B1 team won the City Championship! Way to go! Good luck to one of our 6th grade girls teams playing in the semifinals basketball tournament tonight.
May we always love God and one another.
Peace,
Fr. Jeff
